The Scottish Borders are full of amazing roads and trails which are just begging to be a playground for your tyres.

Roadies visiting the area are advised to try out the Four Abbeys Way – a 55-mile route linking four ruined abbeys, ascending and descending some beautiful stretches of tarmac along the way.

Those who prefer to take their bikes off-road can check out the 7Stanes trail centres, which were voted a top mountain biking mecca by the Lonely Planet. The 7 complexes in the South of Scotland include trails for all abilities, plus visitors centres with all the facilities you could need.
