Squeaky brakes and jumping gears – sound familiar?
Matt and our team of Cytec mechanics will be running free FixIt! bike maintenance sessions at the RideIt! Cycle Show on 19th March. They will take you through the steps to recognise what’s normal and what’s not and teach you how to deal with some of those annoying squeaks, clicks and wobbly bits to keep your bike on the road in tip top condition!
They will cover four main topics:
- Inner tube replacement
- barrel adjustment for gears
- barrel adjustment for brakes
- cleaning and re-lubing of the drive chain
Sessions will last half an hour and run throughout the day giving you plenty of opportunity to take part and learn a new skill or two!
The FixIt! team will set up bikes in the Tech Seminar Room so there’s no need to bring your own, and there’s no booking required just turn up early and secure your spot.
