The RideIt! Cycle Show will take place at the Redbridge Cycling Centre, Hainault on the 19th March 2011 and will play host to the country’s biggest demo weekend as well as a full sportive road ride and a family fun ride.  Hundreds of products from the industry’s leading bike manufacturers will be available to test ride on the cycling centres purpose built road circuit and off road track.  Plus every visitor to the show will be entered into a free prize draw to win a Memory Map Adventurer 3500 GPS with full GB maps!

The show is a must visit for anyone looking to buy a new bike, bike clothing or accessories this summer.  The broadest range of bike manufacturers will be exhibiting including Scott, BMC, Fuji, Colnago, Lapierre,  and Brompton.  Evans own brand Pinnacle is very excited to announce that it will be unveiling its new 2011 range of road and mountain bikes at the show.   Visitors will also have the chance to test the latest high tech products from the likes of Garmin, USE, Cateye and Polar and check out the latest summer cycle clothing from amongst others, Gore Bike Wear, Endura, Helly Hansen and Fox.

Full sportive and family rides

To compliment the massive demo will be daily Sportive rides on fully way marked routes.  The Saturday Sportive is for riders of every level of experience, with a choice of approximately 10, 30, 60 or 90 miles.  All routes take in the local forest lanes and countryside and culminate on the Redbridge 2 km purpose built road circuit where the applause of the crowd will cheer riders across the finish line.  Gore Bike Wear will be on hand with their ‘Try Before You Buy’ service, SIS will be stocking the feed stations with energy drinks and snacks and Memory Map will be supplying the maps and will have a range of Adventurer GPS units available for demo.  Rider numbers are strictly limited so book early to avoid disappointment.

Meet Geoff Thomas & entertain the kids

If that’s not enough, Geoff Thomas, the ex England footballer will be presenting his inspirational story of how he overcame leukaemia and rode all 3,500km of the 2005 Tour de France route and the M.A.D. mountain bike display team will be in action with their stunt display and coaching sessions.  There will also be FixIt! bike maintenance sessions running throughout the weekend as well as lots of other fun free activities for all the family including face painting, bouncy castle and more!

Advanced online entry to the Sportive & Show costs £15.00 , whilst entry to the Show only costs only £1.00! Children under 16 years old are free of charge when accompanied by a full paying adult.
