Following the earlier success, Evans Cycles mechanics will be back again on one of London’s busiest commuter routes to offer free bike check-ups on Friday 30th August.
As many of us know, commuting in London is often no easy feat. With cars, busses and pedestrians a challenge enough, commuting in London is even more risky if your bike is in bad condition. In order to make your journey safer, Evans Cycles will be running another Pit Stop event in central London. In the past decade London has seen a 155% increase in commuters choosing to cycle to work, and we want to keep you safe!
Our expert mechanics will be returning to Kennington Park Road, just in front of the tube station, on Friday 30th August to offer a free bike check and advise on any necessary bike maintenance. From 7:00am until 10:00am, every cyclist can stop by our stand and get a free assessment. We will also be handing out free goody bags full of bike related treats.
Transport for London and the Metropolitan Police Service Cycle Task Force will join us on the day to register and mark your bike for free. By registering your bike the police can identify and verify the legitimate owner of your bike if it is stolen.
Don’t miss out! Leave a little earlier and make the most of our free Pit Stop. We look forward to seeing many of you there.
