Well, what a year it has been! Plenty has happened, and today I asked the team “what were your biggest moments in cycling in 2010?”. Here they are, in no particular order…
Boris bikes launch
Cav wondering where his mojo went at the start of the Tour then coming back like a nuclear powered freight train in the sprints!
Tracey Mosely winning the Downhill World Champs
July 11th stage 8 of TDF – Lance Armstrong Crashes 3 times and his ambitions of a final and 8th tour win are over
The death of a great cyclist, Laurent Fignon at just 50! Not fair.
Fabian Cancellara winning the Paris Roubaix and tour of Flanders double. A rare feat.
Danny Macaskill’s new video!
Red bull rampage
What else? Well, we started blogging, tweeting and facebooking back in June, and had a lot of fun filming our How to video series over on Youtube. We spotted the shiniest new products and coolest new clothing lines at Eurobike, Balint spent the day with the Cycle cops, and also met Nigel Planer without knowing it. Our bike lighting review taught us a thing or two about dark country lanes, and the team really ought to have taken their keep fit in 6 weeks challenge more seriously. Finally, our favourite post of the year was definitely the Charge Bikes press launch, the bikes looked simply stunning!
But the main point of this post is really just to say one simple thing: a very big thank you to all our customers, readers, friends, fans and followers for your loyal custom in 2010!
We wish you a very Happy Christmas and look forward to seeing you on the roads and trails in the New Year!
