The Evans Cycles team arrived en masse today for the biggest cycling show of the year: Eurobike. Held on the shores of Lake Constance, it houses around 1,100 cycling brands and exhibitors from around the world showcasing their latest bikes, accessories and technology. This is where our buyers think about new ranges and product to stock for next year. A feast for the eyes and quite overwhelming at first, the scale of the show is vast, with some 35,000 visitors expected over the next few days!

Here is a flavour of the show this afternoon, tomorrow we are on a mission to give you a closer look at some of the most important brands and bikes that are coming up in 2011 (plus some fun stuff).

Some of the stands are vast, Cannondale's is no exception

The weight saving integrated carbon stem / handle bar of the new Scott Scale was getting a lot of attention!

Plenty of weird and wonderful bikes to be seen

I was quite intrigued by these Abus Bordo locks, as you don't see them much in the UK.

As you can see, they 'fold' out to secure around your bike, locking with either a combination or a key.

Exposure lights are showcasing their powerful new 'Six pack' light.

I was very drawn to the Crank Bros. stand. Here you see their new Iodine handlebar.

And the new Cobalt seatposts.

Final stop of the day was the wonderful Charge Bikes stand - in full merry go round effect!
