Rider Times

It was great to see so many riders join us over the weekend for our Ride It! Woking event. After sleet showers putting the course out earlier in the week the weather finally came good, maybe a bit chilly to start with but it made a nice change to see the sun shining.

You can download rider times using the links below -

If you have any queries about your time, please email Mark on the address at the top of the times page.

Update 7.20pm Thursday

Just noticed a weird bit of routing on the Garmin 800/810 GPX files around Brookham- I can’t completely correct it for some reason but it’s a small blip and if you follow the arrows over the garmin there will be no issues. I have updated the Medium and Long files at 7.30pm so if you have downloaded them before this, please download them again. If you have downloaded the Long road GPX and TCX files before 7.30pm, please reload these as well. Sorry, Dean

Hi all.

We hope you enjoyed your Easter break and are now ready to start burning off those choccie eggs!

Firstly, just a reminder that the Sunday Sportive is sold out – please do not come to the event hoping for cancelations, we won’t be accepting on the day entries.

PLEASE BRING YOUR HELMET TO REGISTRATION. You will not be able to register without it and you’ll have to go back to your car to retrieve it.

There is a lot of parking on site and we have been able to get you all on site in the past. If, however, we do have to close the site for parking we will do this at the road. So if you see a marshal waving you away from the drive be prepared to carry on down the road. If this is the case, please find somewhere legal and safe to park up ( there is  small lane about 200mtrs past the event centre on the left, or use carparks in town)

This is in the hall, follow signs to registration. If it’s sunny we’ll have registration outside as it’s less cramped.

I won’t know what it’s like until Friday but the area is generally sandy so drains well. There is still likely to be mud out there though!

It’s not a race!

Please give way to other trail users, walkers, horse riders etc. If you come across a Horse, please let the rider know you are there in plenty of time and follow their instructions. Remember, if you spook the horse it might hurt you or other people and you are responsible for you actions and the consequences!! Please also close all gates you might come across.

Snow!! Would you believe it! I have just returned  from putting out the medium loop in the cold snow and it’s still going in Reading. The good news is that it’s supposed to be sunny on Sunday so should be a nice day out……… The roads are in ok condition with a few pot holes so keep a look out whilst you are enjoying the countryside. Please make sure you are able to repair a few punctures as well – we will help you out if you get stuck but it may take up to an hours depending upon where the van is and what it’s doing – far faster and warmer to repair it yourself.

Long loop is closed at 12.30pm as it’s  35miles in – last start time is 9.45am

Distances are approx.

Short -35miles

Medium -57miles

Long -86miles

Drink stations are approximately at:-

Short, – 25miles

Medium – 35 and 47miles

Long – 35,63 and 75 miles

This is not a race!!

Please obey the highway code, stop at junctions and only ride two abreast where it is safe to do so – not on main roads or winding country lanes where cars travelling at speed will not be able to see you and stop!!!! If you cause and accident, you are responsible for the consequences and any costs.

I’ll post these up on Friday after we have put out the courses. These will be for info only and are not downloadable, you will get a hard copy at registration.

GPX files

Everyone who has pre-entered will receive a pre-event mail on Thursday afternoon around 6pm that has links to the GPX files and a guide to show you have to view them interactively. If you have not received this by 7pm tonight please check you junk folder, old accounts, your partners email if they booked and make sure you check the address you booked with! These are all common causes for not getting the mail. If you still don’t have them then email me on I’ll check your entry and send you a copy.

See you all there!

The MTB is open for on the day entries as I type but check before you travel in case there is a last minute rush.

Just recieved the new taster packs for the upcoming events – instead of a bar or gel at registration you’ll get a box with 8 High5 products :-) Add to this the race pack if you enter before 4 weeks of the event and you’ll have over £20 of High5 goodies before you event start the event….
