As the cycling season gets under way we are hearing of more riders then ever stepping up to challenges all over the country and even venturing abroad to partake in cycling adventures with many supporting good causes in the process.

We know that preparing for a challenge ride is an exciting time and as the date draws closer of your chosen ride, there can be lots to think about. We at Evans Cycles are pleased to be supporting a number of charity cycle rides throughout the summer including the British Heart Foundation’s London to Brighton and the Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research charity’s London Bikeathon event.

We have a long history of supporting riders with mechanical advice and technical support at charity ride events and have already wheeled out the tool kit to support riders who attended the Prince’s Trust Palace to Palace bike ride in Birmingham this May. We recognize that having a reliable bike and a few key essentials can make all the difference on the day along with knowing how to fix a puncture and what to expect from your ride so you get an idea of what to you are letting yourself in for!

 

We are also at this year’s London to Brighton event to support rider’s setting off from Clapham Common on the 17th June.
