It’s been almost a month now since the Giro has finished, one of the finest grand tour we’ve ever seen and this is a great chance to win something that only usually graces the hands of riders, team staff, organizers and journo’s at the Giro d’Italia.
We picked up our copy when we joined the BMC Racing Team at their hotel in Ome, prior to the Brescia – Aprica stage, and over the course of the next couple of days with the team, we goy chance to get a couple of choice scribbles in it – namely autographs from the 1966 and 1984 winners Gianni Motta and Francesco Moser no less!
The road book itself has all the details and plenty more. Start and finish town maps; info for team truck and bus drivers on roads to small for the heavy vehicles; stage maps, profiles, schedules and further information on the start and finish towns.
Granted it’s in Italian and French only, but it’s a definitive conversation piece once is spotted on your coffee table.
All you need to do is to leave a comment below with 3 winners of the Giro in the eighties. We’ll pick the winner next Thursday.
