It might still be a bit chilly now, but it’s almost time for a new summer season to begin. Whether you want to see your fitness improve and log some extra miles, if you’ve targeted a sportive or if you’re training for competition, a bit of preparation now could make all the difference.

To help you get ready for the season you have planned, we’re holding free in-store events attended by level 3 British Cycling coaches and a host of industry experts.

At every event there will be a chance to win one of three £100 vouchers, and everyone will be able to help themselves to a glass of bubbly and some snacks.

To kick off the ‘Upgrades Clinic Roadshow’ we’ll be holding events in our Edinburgh store, at Manchester Chill Factore, and in the London Spitalfields branch.

At all three events we’ll start off with a talk from a British Cycling Level 3 coach. At Manchester and Spitalfields, that will be La Fuga coach and Cycling Weekly journalist, Huw Williams – an expert who describes himself as a ‘training people to be faster than I am coach’.

At Edinburgh, guests will have the pleasure of meeting Prof. Richard Davison, an internationally-recognised exercise physiologist with experience coaching to Commonwealth and Olympic Games level.

At each event there will then be the chance to speak to industry experts from nutrition suppliers SIS or High5. Also attending will be the top guys in componentry from Shimano, as well as power, GPS and data geeks from CycleOps and Garmin, and the kit specialists from Specialized will be at Edinburgh and Spitalfields, too.
