After a winning sprint series, “One for the Girls” ladies shopping nights are back in Evans Cycles stores for a summer tour.

The events began in Summer 2013, as a way to encourage and grow women’s cycling. They went down a storm and were in part responsible for us being voted ‘Best Chain Retailer of the Year’ for women, by readers of Total Women’s Cycling.

We’ve spread seven events across the country, and every attendee can guarantee expert advice, with Q+A sessions to make sure everyone benefits, from the brand new riders to those who have been cycling for decades.

What do you get from an event?

At every event, we’re offering exclusive discounts of 20% off RRP on clothing, parts and accessories, and 10% off bikes (some exclusions apply), plus nibbles and fizz. The first 50 ladies through the door at every event will get a goody bag, too.

Every event will feature a 15-minute talk from a female Evans Cycles expert who loves to ride, and most of our experts race competitively, too.

We’ll also have an external expert at each event too – each being local to the area, they’ll be providing advice on how to fit reach your cycling goals and arrange them around your life. Then, every event will finish with a talk from our fully trained workshop mechanic.

Each talk will be pretty short, we know all the ladies at the event will be at different levels of experience, so we’ve made sure to leave plenty of time for smaller breakout groups where you’ll have the chance to ask the experts for specific advice or information. To see which speaker will be at your event, read our overview here.
